The Butterfly Place

The Butterfly Place, 120 Tyngsboro Rd., features an indoor climate-controlled garden complete with winding paths and flowering plants and shrubs. Caterpillars, chrysalides and hundreds of butterflies from around the world may be seen within the 3,100-square-foot glass atrium.

Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
