Charter Street Burying Point

Charter Street Burying Point, on Charter St., was established 1637 and has the tombs of Gov. Simon Bradstreet, Mayflower passenger Richard More, Col. John Hathorne and many other notable Salem citizens. Nearby are the Broad Street and Howard Street burying grounds, which have the tombs of Capt. George Crowninshield and Col. Timothy Pickering.
