The Durant-Kenrick House & Grounds

The Durant-Kenrick House & Grounds, 286 Waverley Ave., tells the stories of three Newton families over 3 centuries. The site features a restored 1734 farmhouse with a modern addition and historical gardens. Through family-friendly interactive exhibits, educational programs and games, visitors learn about day-to-day Colonial living as well as such subjects as the Revolutionary War and 19th-century horticulture.
