Cushing House Museum and Gardens is at 98 High St. Headquarters for the Museum of Old Newbury, the 1808 Cushing House is a 21-room, Federal mansion containing period furnishings, portraits, photographs, paperweights, silver, china, needlework and toys. A genealogy library houses volumes of information about the area's first settlers.
A 19th-century French garden, carriage house and garden house also are on the grounds.
