Mass Audubon's Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary

Mass Audubon's Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary, 280 Eliot St., embraces 624 acres of marsh, ponds and meadows along the Charles River. Wildlife such as wood ducks and great blue herons can be seen from the trails that wind through the sanctuary. The quarter-mile All Persons Trail accommodates wheelchairs and strollers. The visitor center, in a restored barn, incorporates solar and other alternative systems to conserve energy and water.
