Jeremiah Lee Mansion

Jeremiah Lee Mansion, 161 Washington St., was the 1768 Georgian home of a wealthy ship owner and patriot who helped secure weapons for the American revolt against King George. Its opulent interiors feature intricate carvings and rare, original hand-painted English wallpaper and 18th- and early 19th-century furnishings, paintings and artifacts.
