First Baptist Church

First Baptist Church, 38 Gloucester Ave., is a modern structure evocative of a ship and fortress. The interior features a pulpit reminiscent of the Mariner's Chapel in “Moby Dick.” An 8-foot-tall cross looms above the congregation.
