Battleship Cove, off I-195 exit 5 on Mt. Hope Bay, is home to USS Joseph P. Kennedy Jr., USS Lionfish, USS Massachusetts and two World War II torpedo boats. The site is the commonwealth's official veterans memorial for World War II and the Korean, Vietnam and Persian Gulf wars. It also houses a memorial for the victims of Sept. 11 as well as several exhibition spaces.
