AAA Editor Notes
The Rebecca Nurse Homestead, 149 Pine St., is the 17th-century saltbox where Rebecca Nurse lived 1678-92, which is when she was tried and hanged during the Salem witchcraft trials. The grounds contain a small graveyard believed to include Nurse's remains. Several outbuildings also are on the property, but not all date to Nurse's era. In the reproduction of the Salem Village meetinghouse you can learn about the historic witch trials.

Guided tours are available.
