Union Mills Homestead and House Museum

Union Mills Homestead and House Museum is 7 mi. n. on SR 97 to 3311 Littlestown Pike. This large 1797 clapboard farmhouse was the home of six generations of the Shriver family, who operated milling, farming, tannery and canning businesses known collectively as “Union Mills.” Furnishings, utensils and other items represent nearly two centuries of American life. Across the lane is the three-story 1797 Union Mills Grist Mill, built with bricks made on the property. Powered by a large waterwheel, the mill still operates. Special events are offered.
