Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center

Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center is off US 50/301 exit 43B, just s.e. on SR 18, then .5 mi. s. on Perry Corner Rd. to 600 Discovery Ln., following signs. Within the center's 500 acres lie 4 miles of walking trails through marshes, meadows and woodlands. The environment is ideal for bird-watching; more than 200 species of birds can be seen. Birds of prey can be seen in an outdoor aviary. A boardwalk at the wetlands and observation towers provide scenic views. Stations for geocaching are available.

Guided kayak tours are available in summer and fall.
