Western Maryland Scenic Railroad, departing the station center at 13 Canal St., offers 3.5-hour round-trip excursions up 1,300-foot-high Piney Mountain, through Brush Tunnel and into Frostburg aboard a train pulled by a GP30 diesel engine. North Pole Experience trains, Evening Paradise trips on Saturday nights and first-class trips also are available.
