New Iceland Heritage Museum is at 94 1st Ave. Displayed in two buildings are exhibits that focus on the area's Icelandic roots, the fishing industry and Lake Winnipeg's natural history. Multimedia exhibits at the Waterfront Centre examine area history, while displays at the visitor center feature the fishing industry and the lake's natural history. A new permanent exhibit showcases 350 rocks and minerals from Iceland.
