Fort Dauphin Museum

Fort Dauphin Museum, 140 Jackson St., is surrounded by a wooden palisade suggestive of an 18th-century fur-trading fort of the North West Co. A trapper's cabin, schoolhouse, church, blacksmith shop, trading post and pioneer house inside the fort are furnished in the style of the early settlers. Archeological, fur trade and pioneer artifacts also are featured.
