The General Henry Knox Museum/Montpelier

The General Henry Knox Museum/Montpelier, 30 High St. near jct. US 1 and SR 131, is a re-creation of the home of Gen. Henry Knox, first U.S. Secretary of War. The house contains many of Knox's original furnishings and possessions. Tours conducted by guides in period costumes are available and last between 45 minutes and 1 hour.
