Southworth Planetarium

Southworth Planetarium is in the science building on the University of Southern Maine campus; take I-295 exit 6B, go 1 blk. w. on Forest Ave., then .5 blk. s. to 70 Falmouth St. Regularly changing astronomy shows, classes, movies and concerts are offered. Planetarium programs are projected onto a 30-foot dome. Seating capacity is 65. Featured in the exhibit area is Heaven on Earth, a permanent exhibit of the solar system.
