Rugosa Lobster Tours

Rugosa Lobster Tours, departing from docks behind Nonantum Resort, 95 Ocean Ave., takes visitors on a 60- to 75-minute tour of the Kennebunk River while crew explain and demonstrate the intricacies of a lobster haul. Passengers may watch crew members pulling lobster traps out of the water, extracting the catch and resetting traps for the next pull. Hands-on safe handling of lobsters also is offered.

Note: Vessel operates in open water; make sure you carry appropriate medication if you're prone to seasickness. Tours are limited to 20 passengers.
