East Point Sanctuary

East Point Sanctuary, 5 mi. s. on US 208 on Lester B. Orcutt Blvd. to end, encompasses 30 acres of rocky coastal headland considered to be one of the best sites for bird-watching in southern Maine. A shoreline trail offers views of such marine birds as gannets, red-throated loons, sea ducks and terns. Two rocky islands visible from the trail support large bird colonies.
