Bar Harbor Whale Watch Co. departs from the Harbor Place at 1 West St. The company offers narrated, 3- to 3.5-hour whale-watching or 3.5- to 4-hour combination whale- and puffin-watching excursions aboard a 112-foot high-speed catamaran. The catamaran offers three decks for viewing. A nature/sightseeing cruise, lobster fishing and seal-watching cruise and the Baker Island tour are offered aboard other craft. The 3-hour Historical Lighthouse and National Park Tour travels to five offshore island lighthouses and offers scenic views of Acadia National Park.
