Schoodic Point

Schoodic Point is at the tip of Schoodic Peninsula on the eastern side of Frenchman Bay—about an hour's drive from Bar Harbor. Beside the point, Schoodic Head rises more than 400 feet, commanding a sweeping view eastward toward the Bay of Fundy and westward toward the Mount Desert Mountains. A park road from SR 186 follows the coast of the peninsula.
