Wetlands Acadian Cultural Center is at 314 St. Mary St. Part of the Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve, the center traces the history and culture of the Cajuns from the 1600s to the present. Boat tours narrated by park rangers take visitors down Bayou Lafourche en route to Madewood Plantation House in nearby Napoleonville or E.D. White Historic Site.
