The Cottage Plantation

The Cottage Plantation is at 10528 Cottage Ln. The plantation tour allows visitors to see a virtually complete plantation as it stood in the early 1800s. Buildings include the main house with many original furnishings, the law office (later used as a schoolhouse), milk house, kitchen, carriage house, smoke house, commissary, tack room, greenhouses, horse barn and slave cabins. Gardens feature azaleas, camellias, crape myrtles, dogwoods and live oaks.

Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
