USS Kidd Veterans Memorial and Museum

USS Kidd Veterans Memorial and Museum is on the Mississippi River across from the Baton Rouge Centroplex at 305 S. River Rd. The memorial consists of an observation tower, a museum complex and the USS Kidd, a World War II destroyer. Exhibits include a model ship collection, maritime artifacts and a replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall. Outside the museum are two fighter planes—a P-40 Flying Tiger and a Corsair A-7E.
