Woodford Reserve Distillery

Woodford Reserve Distillery is 6 mi. w. on US 60, s.w. on Grassy Springs Rd. (CR 3360), then w. on McCracken Pike to entrance. Guided tours of this restored 1812 facility show visitors the traditional method of making Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey. Tours through the distillery’s limestone buildings, some more than a century old, include a look at the cypress fermentors, old-fashioned copper pot stills and charred-oak barrels.

A short film about the site’s history is shown at the visitor center, which also has exhibits, artifacts and photographs. The distillery produces the super-premium Woodford Reserve Bourbon.
