The International Museum of the Horse

The International Museum of the Horse is part of Kentucky Horse Park at 4089 Iron Works Pkwy. This large, beautifully designed museum outlines the history of the first domesticated horse, the Arabian stallion, draft horses, horse-drawn vehicles and the horse as it relates to sports. Temporary international exhibits offer glimpses of the importance of horses to different cultures.
