Raven Run Nature Sanctuary

Raven Run Nature Sanctuary, 6 mi. s.e. on Richmond Rd., 3.5 mi. s. on US 25/421, then 5.2 mi. s. on SR 1975/Jack's Creek Pike to 3885 Raven Run Way, is a 734-acre nature sanctuary with more than 10 miles of hiking trails that traverse meadow, forest and creek ecosystems, leading to views of the Kentucky River palisades. More than 200 bird and 600 plant species may be seen. Also on the property are a historic brick house and rock fences built by pioneer farmers. A nature center has interactive exhibits about native flora and fauna and offers pamphlets outlining the area’s history and wildlife.

Note: Pets of any kind are not permitted. All visitors must sign in at the nature center, located at the beginning of the trail system, upon arrival and departure.
