Old Friends

Old Friends is at 1841 Paynes Depot Rd. (US 62) at Dream Chase Farm. A living-history museum devoted to horse racing, the 236-acre horse farm provides a permanent retirement home for more than 130 former Thoroughbred racehorses. Ninety-minute guided tours, sometimes conducted by founder Michael Blowen, allow visitors close-up encounters with the horses, including Derby and Preakness winner Silver Charm as well as two-time Whitney winner Commentator and Belmont Stakes winner Touch Gold and Sarava.
