St. Mary's Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption

St. Mary's Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption, 1101 Madison Ave. at 12th St., has a facade modeled after Notre Dame in Paris, France. The 1895 basilica has 82 stained-glass windows, including one of the largest stained-glass windows in the world. Four large murals on canvas painted by Covington native Frank Duveneck adorn the walls of a chapel.
