Highlands Museum and Discovery Center

Highlands Museum and Discovery Center, downtown at 1620 Winchester Ave. (US 23), has hands-on exhibits about regional cultural, social and industrial history. Displays feature country music legends who hail from Kentucky; the Music Quilt, an interactive sound wall sculpture; archeological and World War I and II artifacts; and education in a one-room schoolhouse. The Discovery Center has exhibits for ages 5-11, a play space for children under 6 and an Ohio River towboat.
