Botanica, The Wichita Gardens

Botanica, The Wichita Gardens, 701 Amidon St., presents a diversity of native and exotic plants in 28 themed gardens on a 17-acre site. Gardens include the Downing Children's Garden; the Jayne Milburn Aquatic Collection; the Xeriscape Demonstration Garden; the Chinese Garden of Friendship; the Project Beauty Shakespearean Garden; and rose, butterfly, woodland bird, wildflower and sensory gardens. In the Butterfly House hundreds of free-flight butterflies put on a colorful show June through September.
