Kansas State Fish Hatchery

Kansas State Fish Hatchery, 2 mi. e. on US 54, then 1 mi. s. on SR 64, was one of the first to raise channel catfish. The 187-acre facility includes 87 ponds. A museum and education center feature native birds and animals in their natural habitats and aquariums with every species of fish indigenous to the state. The hatchery also is the operations office of the Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism.
