Koester House Museum

Koester House Museum, 919 Broadway at US 77 and US 36, is a restored two-story Victorian house built by a local banker about 1874. It is furnished with elegant original pieces. A brick fence designed to prevent flooding encloses the yard. Two statues of lions flank the north gate, two cast iron dogs guard the east gates and 13 white-bronze statues adorn the gardens.
