Riley County Historical Museum

Riley County Historical Museum, 2309 Claflin Rd., contains exhibits, changing displays and the Seaton Research Library. Next door is Hartford House, a restored prefabricated cabin brought to Manhattan on a steamboat in 1855. Also on the grounds is the 1870s Randolph Jail. The 1860s Goodnow House State Historic Site contains original furnishings and items belonging to Isaac Goodnow, a leader in the Free State Movement.
