Science City

Science City is in Union Station at 30 W. Pershing Rd. Interactive exhibits include Science on a Sphere, a huge, dome-shaped room with a 7-foot sphere suspended in the center, that features global images, planetary data and earth science programs. A local school's “Battle of the Brains” contest resulted in the Unplugged energy exhibit. There's also an animal and nature center, a crime lab, a bicycle suspended 30 feet above ground and more than 50 hands-on interactive areas. DinoLab offers a behind-the-scenes look at a working lab where a paleontologist prepares dinosaur fossils for exhibition.
