Kansas City Zoo

Kansas City Zoo is in Swope Park at 6800 Zoo Dr. This 202-acre zoo exhibits animals in the Tropics; Australian Outback; Penguin Plaza; Asian Tiger Trail; Discovery Barn; a 3-acre chimp exhibit; and a 95-acre African Plains exhibit, overlooked by the African Sky Safari gondola ride. An endangered species carousel and train, tram and boat rides are offered seasonally for an additional fee.
