Abilene & Smoky Valley Railroad

Abilene & Smoky Valley Railroad departs from the 1887 Rock Island Depot at 200 S.E. 5th St. A 10-mile train ride travels over the rolling flatlands between Abilene and Enterprise. Featured are a restored 1900s wooden dining car, an open-air gondola car, a caboose, a 1945 diesel locomotive, and a steam engine (#3415) that is operated on occasion.
