The Music Man Square

The Music Man Square, 308 S. Pennsylvania Ave., honors Meredith Willson, Mason City resident and composer of the Broadway musicals “The Music Man” and “The Unsinkable Molly Brown.” The complex includes Willson's boyhood home, a museum with artifacts and memorabilia from Willson's career, and a streetscape replica of 1912 River City, as seen in the 1962 film. Temporary exhibits also are offered.

Guided tours of the Willson boyhood home are available.
