Keokuk Lock and Dam 19

Keokuk Lock and Dam 19 are on the Mississippi River. The dam is nearly a mile long and more than 100 years old. The lock permits river traffic to pass, and the dam supplies electricity to metropolitan St. Louis. The dam and powerhouse are not open to the public; viewing is available from the observation deck.
