National Balloon Museum

National Balloon Museum is 1 mi. n. of jct. SR 92 and US 65/69 at 1601 N. Jefferson Way. The museum houses the U.S. Ballooning Hall of Fame and chronicles more than 200 years of ballooning history through displays, photographs and collections. Envelopes, inflators, gondolas and other equipment used in hot-air and gas ballooning are displayed. Included is an interactive area for children. The building's shape resembles two inverted balloons.
