RailsWest Railroad Museum

RailsWest Railroad Museum is off I-80 exit 3 at jct. 16th Ave. and S. Main St. The restored 1899 Rock Island Depot features displays of railroad memorabilia and an extensive HO-scale operating model railroad. Highlights of the outdoor railcar display include a restored mail car and a Rock Island caboose as well as two steam locomotives: the “Union Pacific 814” and the “Burlington 915.”

Guided tours are available by appointment (minimum 15 people).
