Trainland U.S.A.

Trainland U.S.A. is 2.5 mi. n. of I-80 exit 155 at 3135 SR 117N. The development of the transcontinental railroad is depicted with operating Lionel toy trains and accessories. The exhibit represents the frontier, steam and diesel eras in railroad history. A restored 1860s Chicago and Northwestern Depot also is on site that houses early to mid-1900s artifacts and memorabilia. Visitors can view the exterior of a Chicago and Northwestern bay window caboose.
