Basilica of the Sacred Heart

Basilica of the Sacred Heart is on the University of Notre Dame campus at 101 Basilica Dr. Built in the late 1800s, the neo-Gothic church features one of the largest collections of 19th-century French stained glass in the world. Rich, detailed murals by Vatican artist Luigi Gregori cover the walls and ceiling. Built in the shape of a Latin cross, the basilica includes a chancel and apsidal chapels that contain relics and works of art.
