Southern Indiana Center for the Arts

Southern Indiana Center for the Arts is 3 mi. n. on SR 11 to 2001 N. Ewing St. Works by regional artists and a collection of paintings by John Mellencamp and his mother, Marilyn Mellencamp, are displayed in an 1851 Greek Revival building. The adjacent Conner Museum is dedicated to the printing methods of the 1800s and features demonstrations of two antique printing presses and an exhibit about the history of the written and printed word.
