Midwest Museum of American Art

Midwest Museum of American Art is at 429 S. Main St. The permanent collection of American paintings, prints, drawings, watercolors, sculpture and photographs spans 175 years. Particularly noteworthy are works by Alexander Calder, Grand Wood, the Overbeck sisters and Norman Rockwell. The gallery, in a restored bank building, also sponsors changing multimedia art exhibits.
