Cedarhurst Center for the Arts

Cedarhurst Center for the Arts is 2 mi. e. on SR 15 off I-57, then n. on 27th St. to 2600 Richview Rd. following signs. The center’s focal point is the Mitchell Museum, which includes the works of such 19th- and 20th-century American artists as George Bellows, Mary Cassatt, Thomas Eakins and Childe Hassam. Changing exhibits display such contemporary art as ceramics, metalwork, painting, photography and sculpture.

The Goldman-Kuenz Sculpture Park features more than 70 large-scale sculptures, and a nature trail also is on the grounds.

Chamber music performances are presented by internationally renowned musicians throughout the year. The annual Cedarhurst Art & Craft fair is held the first weekend after Labor Day.
