Orpheum Theatre is at 57 S. Kellogg St. Built in 1916 as a vaudeville house, the theater hosted such notables as Jack Benny, George Burns, Harry Houdini and the Marx Brothers. The building has been restored to its original eclectic style, with an elaborate Italian Renaissance plaster frieze and French baroque medallions; the exterior is French Second Empire. A broad selection of performing arts is presented throughout the year.
