Miller Park Zoo is off I-55/74 exit 160, .9 mi. e. on SR 9 (Market St.), then .7 mi. s. on Morris Ave. The zoo is home to a variety of animals including a Sumatran tiger, snow leopards, a sun bear, harbor seals, river otters, reindeer, bald eagles, flamingos, red wolves and several species of primates.
There are three large indoor exhibits: the walk-through Tropical America Rainforest, The Katthoefer Large Animal Building and ZooLab. Other exhibit areas include a children’s zoo, Animals of Asia and Wallaby WalkAbout. Animal feedings take place daily. A carousel operates seasonally.
Time: Allow 2 hours minimum.
