World Center for Birds of Prey

World Center for Birds of Prey is 7 mi. s. at 5668 W. Flying Hawk Ln.; take I-84 exit 50 to S. Cole Rd., then s. 6 mi. and w. on Flying Hawk Ln. to the top of the hill. The world headquarters of the Peregrine Fund—an organization dedicated to the conservation of birds of prey—includes a 7,200-square-foot interpretive center. Exhibits about wildlife, biology and ecology are featured, and live birds, such as falcons, California condors and eagles, can be seen. Outdoor flight demonstrations are offered Friday through Sunday in October. Docents are available to answer questions and to lead tours of the interpretive center.
