Moir Gardens

Moir Gardens is at 2253 Po‘ipū Rd. at the Outrigger Kiahuna Plantation. Alexandra Moir, wife of Kōloa Sugar Plantation manager Hector Moir, began planting her garden after her marriage in 1930. By 1948 it was known internationally as one of the world’s best cactus and succulent gardens. Orchids and bromeliads are included. An Italian marble cutting stone once imported for kitchen use has been made into a bench and placed in the gardens.
