Washington Historical Museum is at 308 E. Robert Toombs Ave./Bus. Rte. 78. Built about 1835, this museum houses antique furnishings and Confederate relics, including Jefferson Davis' camp chest. Revolutionary War and Native American history exhibits also are on display. A turn-of-the-20th-century doctor's office is on the grounds.
